This property had undergone a major ‘reintroduction into the 21st century’ and the kitchen needed to be designed to complement the 400 year old house and yet be modern and contemporary.
The design used a classic beaded shaker kitchen with top boxes to go to full ceiling height. By glazing the top boxes we were able to add a lighting circuit to enhance the look and we lit the underside of the worktop. The use of contemporary plinth, conice and handles then completed the look and, although fairly simple changes, these features can lift a classic Shaker and bring the contemporary style that the brief demanded.
Lovely helpful people throughout - made the whole process fun. Excellent design to our brief and gorgeous kitchen as a result. Nothing was too much trouble.
